Bilge Pumps

  • Two independent automatic 4800 GPH electric bilge pumps with separate float switches
  • Bilge pump assembly includes both bilge pumps and float switches mounted on starboard in a stacked vertical configuration (see photo)
  • Bilge pump assembly is attached to the engine room forward bulkhead just forward of the diesel engine
  • Bilge pump control sub-panel mounted on AC power panel in Pilothouse
  • During normal operation the lower bilge pump operates
  • Upper bilge pump (secondary) is available as a backup to the  lower (primary) pump should the lower pump or float switch fail
  • Upper bilge pump (secondary) doubles pump capacity in emergency situations
  • Hand operated diaphragm bilge pump is mounted in the cockpit
